(TSXV:ES) ("Eight Solutions" or the "Company"), a technology company focused on making data easy, today announced that a multi-location animation studio headquartered in Vancouver, Canada has purchased the Jetstream high speed file transfer platform.
Being able to move files fast between locations in Canada and Asia is an important part of connecting far flung teams and efficiently collaborating to produce some of today's most recognizable shows. Although the studio had an existing high speed file transfer solution, they turned to Jetstream when looking for a replacement.
The previous application imposed bandwidth caps, which meant that the studio could not use the entire bandwidth they wanted to allocate for transferring files. With Jetstream, the studio will be able to use as much or as little of their available bandwidth at no additional cost. Because Jetstream is fast and easy to use, their teams will be more productive while operating more cost effectively.
Jetstream was also selected because of the open Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) included with the solution. The APIs will allow Jetstream to easily integrate with the studio's digital asset management system to simplify workflows and enable faster turnarounds.
