Stenograph, LLC, the leader in technology development for court reporting and captioning professionals, announced the winner of a new scholarship that honors Stenograph's founder, Milton H. Wright. Stenograph, LLC, in partnership with the National Court Reporters Foundation (NCRF), awarded this merit-based scholarship to Christine Romans. Ms. Romans is a student at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in Edmonton, Alberta.

"I would like to extend my deepest thanks to Stenograph and the NCRF for choosing me as the recipient of the Milton H. Wright Memorial scholarship that will aid me in my steno journey," Romans said. "It is an overwhelming privilege to be chosen from among so many other deserving students who I know are working equally as hard as I am. I hope to make Stenograph, the NCRF, NAIT, all my incredible instructors and classmates, and everyone else in the community proud as I continue striving for success in my program and in my future career."

"I am extremely pleased that through Stenograph's Milton H. Wright Scholarship we are able to support a well-deserving student such as Ms. Romans as she enters the stenography field," said Stenograph Vice President of Marketing, Dan Denofsky. "Her essay demonstrated great insight and thoughtfulness about the challenges the court reporting and captioning industry face in the new world of remote proceedings. Her insight and suggestions about our future give all of us great hope about the next generations of court reporters and the future of court reporting. We at Stenograph would like to wish Ms. Romans every success in her pursuit to become a certified court reporter."

"The Stenograph Milton H. Wright Memorial Scholarship is such a generous way to help encourage and advance the career of a rising court reporter," said Early Langley, the National Court Reporters Foundation chair. "Our Foundation is proud to offer Stenograph's opportunity as it provides excellent reinforcement for the education journey that this year's awardee, Christine Romans, is on."
