PHOENIX - April 20, 2021 - (Newswire.com)

Envoy America, a comprehensive program that offers transportation plus assistance and companionship for seniors, will be hiring dozens of Driver Companions on the spot at its Job Fair on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, and Thursday, April 22, 2021, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at its Phoenix office (4920 S Wendler Drive, Suite 115, Tempe, Arizona 85282). As demand for full-service senior transportation has grown in the Phoenix area, Envoy America is looking for people interested in making a difference in the lives of seniors.

Envoy America's Driver Companions not only drive seniors to and from their destination, but also facilitate at all points along the journey, including meeting clients at the door and assisting them to the car. The Envoy America service replicates what a son or daughter would do to help their elderly mom or dad go to medical appointments, complete shopping trips, or attend social activities and religious services.

"Being a Driver Companion with Envoy America is a great way to do good, earn cash on your schedule and work when you want," said K. C. Kanaan, Chief Executive Officer of Envoy America. "It's simple and ideal for those looking for caregiving, seasonal, gig, work from home, entry level, temporary, or any type of part time opportunities. Envoy America guarantees its Drivers Companions 60% higher pay than the leading rideshare company."

Those interested in being a Driver Companion for Envoy America must meet the following criteria:

  • Be at least 23 years old
  • Possess a clean background, drug screen and driving record as well as three years of driving experience;
  • Own a senior-friendly late model or in excellent condition four door sedan or small SUV;
  • Have a valid driver's license;
  • Have updated vehicle registration and insurance;
  • Have a First Aid/CPR Certificate or be willing to obtain one.

At the Envoy America Job Fair, applicants will be interviewed, and their cars will undergo a safety inspection.

"Envoy America Driver Companions are a community unlike any other group of third-party contractors," added Kanaan. "They love working with seniors, care about making a positive impact in the lives of seniors and their families and are excited to be brand ambassadors for Envoy America's mission."

Upon successful hiring, Driver Companions are guaranteed a minimum of $2,850 if they do 200 trips, which is 60% higher compared to the leading rideshare company's $250 million stimulus guarantee of $1,775 for doing the same number of trips. Envoy America has a "Veterans First" hiring policy and encourages all veterans to apply. Learn more about Envoy America's career opportunities at https://envoyamerica.com/drive/
