Corinthia Lenoir Hall Publishes Book Calling for the Repentance and Deliverance of Church Leaders

By: WebWire

How grave is spiritual malpractice in the church? It has become worse that author Corinthia Lenoir Hall issued a fiery clarion call toward renewal and repentance for church leaders through her book “I Survived To Testify: Refined To Shine” (2020).

In “I Survived To Testify,” Corinthia speaks up against the 'spiritual and demonic abuse' by church leaders – the men and women standing before and laying hands on the people of God – who have 'perverted' Scripture to “put fear in the people of God to allow them to continue in their sin without their sin being exposed.”

“What do you do when you have been violated by the hands of your church leader?” the author asked. “What will happen to you when you speak out about the wickedness and perversion of church leaders?… Where can the people of God go or turn to for refuge without them being rebuked, scorned, talked about, and driven out of the church?

“Where is the help within our churches today?”

Corinthia laments the prevalence of men and women of God in leadership who turn deaf ear to the people's cries for help as they are “too concerned about their image and their name, while so many of God's sheep are being misled, contaminated, infected, and shamed in the church.” For her, these leaders are not any different than a criminal who commits a crime and try to cover it up by any means necessary.

“Today, spiritual leaders turn a deaf ear and address only that which is comfortable to them and ignore certain cries for help,” said Corinthia. “Perhaps it could be that not speaking about the sins and demons of the pulpit will keep the sin and demons in their own pulpit hidden.”

By writing “I Survived To Testify,” the author calls on church leaders to hold themselves accountable for their misdeeds and bring back accountability, integrity, and responsible leadership to the house of God. She speaks for the many men and women who have experienced spiritual abuse at the hands of the church leadership but are afraid or ashamed to speak up for fear of repercussions.

“My story is not to make the church look bad,” the author said, “but rather in hopes of the making the church to open their eyes and take a closer look at why many of God's people are being wounded in the church.”
