About the Author:
Margret Kingrey grew up in a small town near the coast of the State of Washington. After earning her Associate of Arts degree, she married and moved to Oregon, then Texas. Upon her divorce she and her son returned to Washington where she attended the University of Puget Sound, earning her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. After working for several years, she moved to Alaska where she met her husband, Everett. Upon a transfer to New Mexico, Margret earned her M. A. in Early Childhood Special Education from New Mexico State University. She taught in three OT programs before retiring. She earned her MFA in Writing from the University of Nebraska in 2019. She is a member of Pacific Northwest Writers Association, Nebraska Writer's Guild, The League of American Pen Women and the National Association of Memoir Writers.
