Tirupati Graphite PLC CEO Shishir Poddar takes Proactive's Stephen Gunnion through the company's trading performance for the year to 31 March 2023, revealing a strong rise in shipments, sales revenue and gross profit margin.
Overcoming difficulties such as weather-related bottlenecks, he said Tirupati implemented strategic decisions, including splitting its process into two parts - a pre-concentrate unit and a final concentrate unit - and utilising a slurry pumping system.
Poddar said Tirupati continues its expansion and aims to achieve a total capacity of 80,000 tonnes across its projects by the end of 2024, with the lowest operating expenditure outside of China.
