Altamira Gold says Santa Helena project shows potential for porphyry-related copper mineralization

Altamira Gold Corp CEO Mike Bennett joins Proactive's Stephen Gunnion with an update on its ongoing exploration program for copper and gold at the Santa Helena project in Mato Grosso State, Brazil.

Bennett says the first of four defined copper-in-soil anomalies to be surveyed with ground magnetics reveals a major regional fault trend and arcuate magnetic features, consistent with hydrothermal alteration associated with a porphyry intrusive-type setting. This reveals the potential for porphyry-related copper mineralization at Santa Helena.

He also provided an update on the Maria Bonita target at the Cajueiro gold project.
