Guild Esports aims for 5 million-strong audience following strong first half

Guild Esports PLC chief executive Jasmine Skee joined Proactive's Stephen Gunnion with details of the company's half-year results, which show strong revenue growth and reduced costs. Revenue increased by 241% to £3.7mln compared to £1.1mln last year, while gross profit rose by 256% to £2.5 million.

Skee told Proactive that the company diversified its revenue streams through Guild Studios, which focuses on gaming campaigns with brands like Samsung Mobile and Anthony Nolan. It aims to reach an audience of 5 million by the end of the year by focusing on platforms popular with Gen Z and Gen Alpha, such as Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, and TikTok, she added.
