Jessica worked in the hospitality and service sectors for several years before deciding to make a career change and applying her knowledge and experience to the beauty business. In 2016, she established By Jessica & Co. Beauty Lounge in Pooler, Georgia. She is a remarkable hair stylist, and she is also skilled in the field of makeup artistry.
By Jessica & Co. Beauty Lounge is a boutique salon with a modern, shabby chic look that feels homey. She offers women’s and men’s haircuts, children’s haircuts, coloring, highlights, all phases of waxing and makeup, hair extensions, eyelash/eyebrow tinting, eyelash extensions, and Bridal hair and makeup. This salon has retail products for sale, accessories, and a clothing line available for purchase.
Before embarking on her professional career path, Jessica received her master’s degree in 2012 and holds an eyebrow certification and a lash certification from Novalash. She is masterly trained in hair coloring and highlighting. Jessica also attends hair-cutting courses and classes to further her skills.
Her impressive repertoire of prior roles includes working as a lash specialist at Locks & Lashes Boutique and as a hairstylist and makeup artist at All About Hair.
Throughout her illustrious career, Jessica has received many awards and accolades and has been featured in magazines. She graced the Front Cover of TIP (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine and had an exclusive interview on TIP Radio. In 2022, she received the honor of Cosmetologist of the Decade from the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) and was honored at IAOTP’s Annual Awards Gala in Las Vegas, where she was also featured on the famous Planet Hollywood Billboard on the iconic Las Vegas strip. Jessica was chosen as Top Cosmetologist of the Year for 2021, was honored at IAOTP’s Annual Awards Gala at the Plaza Hotel in NYC, and was featured on the famous Reuters Billboard in Times Square, NYC. By Jessica & Co Beauty Lounge has been recognized as the “Best Hair Salon” in Pooler, GA, from 2016-2022.
In addition to her successful career, Jessica is now the author of her own book titled You Have to Feel to Deal, now available on amazon www.jessicansauls.com. She is an active member of her community and supports her local Breast Cancer Society. Moreover, Jessica supports domestic violence victims and feels this is extremely important to use her voice to help in any way she can. “Being a hairstylist is like being a therapist,” says Jessica. She enjoys her work and is also now going to school for Mental Health Life Coaching.
Looking back, Jessica owes her success to her enthusiasm for the beauty business and her desire to make others happy and improve their appearance. Jessica likes being in the sun and at the beach, spending time with friends and family, and gardening when she is not working. She aspires to build a mobile branch of her company brand in the future.
