Small Business Pandemic Relief 2025 Refund Claims Assistance Service Announced

Small business owners may still be eligible for pandemic relief funds, with no repayment or restrictions on how they can be spent. This updated claims service from ERTC Express and LP Consulting helps employers to estimate, maximize, and claim their rebates before the deadline.

A federal program that provides relief for small businesses negatively affected by the COVID pandemic is still offering billions of dollars in rebates, but many employers still have not made a claim. ERTC Express and LP Consulting have updated this fast claims service to provide no-cost rebate estimates and eligibility checks, without requiring any proprietary business information.

While the final deadline has already passed for wages paid in 2020, employers can still access up to $21,000 per employee for wages paid in 2021, with no upper limit on funding. These rebates are not a loan or deferral, never require repayment, and have no restrictions on how they can be spent.

ERTC Express uses a 12-question, no-cost, no-obligation questionnaire to determine which businesses may be eligible and how much they are able to claim. The entire process takes only a few minutes to complete, and eligible business owners can access a fast claims service to receive help to complete the required paperwork and claim the maximum allowable rebate.

Employers who were originally disqualified from the ERTC program may also be eligible for rebates after changes were made to the program in the Consolidated Appropriations Act. This includes businesses that may have already enrolled in, or received loans through, the Paycheck Protection Program.

While individual rebates can vary, research suggests the average small business has been receiving approximately $150,000 in refunds. Unlike other pandemic relief options, these refunds are a reimbursement for wages that employers have already paid in 2021.

To qualify, a business must have had 500 or fewer W-2 employees on the payroll during the pandemic and been negatively affected by it in some way. This can include loss of sales due to government mandated lockdowns, capacity restrictions, or work-from-home complications.

Non-profit organizations, including churches, schools, and performing arts centers can also apply, as long as they meet the program criteria. Startups founded during the pandemic may also be able to claim up to $100,000 in rebates as a Recovery Startup Business.
