The Covid-19 pandemic shook the foundation of the world in the late 2019, with the aftershocks still being very real four years later.
To help people who were affected by the pandemic in any capacity, whether it be losing someone close or degrading physical or mental health, an American pediatrician Theresa Wee published a book “My Covid-19 Diary: Practical Tips and Scriptures for Improbable Times”.
Dr. Wee took to social media, like thousands of others, when the pandemic was officially declared across the States. She formed a blog to share her practical expertise on coping with the new way of life many people were not prepared for as a pediatric expert, wife, and mother.
With faith and vast medical experience by her side, Dr. Theresa Wee decided to put her favorite inspirational scriptures to paper, followed with practical tips aimed at helping readers stay safe throughout the pandemic.
Born and raised in Hawaii, Dr. Wee graduated at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine and completed her internship and residency at Columbus Children’s Hospital at the Ohio State University.
Dr. Wee’s “My Covid-19 Diary” is a compilation of her blog posts, simple tips to self-care and preservation, and real-life guide on harnessing one’s faith into overcoming the many struggles the world has been facing since 2019.
Each chapter of Dr. Theresa’s book is followed by a scripture, underscoring how faith is as important as practical medical advice to people living in times she dubs “improbable”, serving as inspiration and a beacon of light.
