San Francisco Equity Partners (“SFEP”), a private equity firm focused on partnering with expansion stage companies across the consumer value chain, today announced the promotions of Andrew Poley to Principal and Marc Berbert to Vice President. In addition, the firm announced the hiring of John Duffy as Vice President of Business Development and Olivia Harris as Associate.

Andrew Poley joined SFEP as an Associate in 2017 and was promoted to Vice President in 2022. He currently serves on the board of multiple SFEP partner companies, including SV Labs, Rustic Bakery, and Formula Corp. Prior to joining SFEP, he was an Analyst in Piper Sandler’s consumer investment banking group.

Marc Berbert joined SFEP in 2021 and works closely with SFEP partner companies Jane Iredale, BruMate and Xceed Foodservice Group. He was previously an Analyst in Piper Sandler’s consumer investment banking group.

John Duffy joins SFEP as VP of Business Development and will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s deal origination efforts. He joins SFEP from American Pacific Group, where he served in a business development role. Duffy was previously an M&A Associate at Bainbridge Capital Advisory.

Olivia Harris joins SFEP from Swander Pace Capital, a consumer-focused private equity firm. She was previously an Analyst in Piper Sandler’s consumer investment banking group.
