20-Year Financial Services Veteran Will Lead New York and Boston Offices

Gen II Fund Services (“Gen II”), a leading global private capital fund administrator with more than $1 trillion AUA, today announced the appointment of Ray Ferranti as Head of Northeast-Client Services, to support the firm’s continued growth in key markets and strengthen client outcomes. Ferranti will oversee client services for the Northeast as a regional head, leading the firm’s New York and Boston offices and overseeing the development and delivery of Gen II’s market leading fund administration services, including fund accounting & financial reporting, to meet clients’ needs. He will report directly to Brian Bekiers, Head of US Client Service.

With 20 years of financial services industry experience, Ferranti joins Gen II from a premier private equity commercial real estate development manager, where he was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer, and led the firm’s finance, compliance, and human resources teams. Previously, he served as Director of Finance and Control at a major global fixed income ABS hedge fund manager with $10 billion under management. In that role he coordinated the monthly NAV close and audits of more than 800 entities and evaluated complicated structured transactions for appropriate accounting treatment under US GAAP. Earlier in his career, Ferranti was the Chief Accounting Officer of Special Investments at a $10 billion fixed income hedge fund manager based in Greenwich, Connecticut, and an auditor at a Big 4 accounting firm.
