Marquis Who's Who Honors Steven Shen for Advocacy and Expertise in Entrepreneurship

UNIONDALE, NY / ACCESS Newswire / September 9, 2025 / Marquis Who's Who honors Mr. Steven Shen for his advocacy efforts and expertise in entrepreneurship. He has been selected for inclusion in the Top Executive feature.

Mr. Shen holds various executive positions in different organizations, including chairman and founder of the China-U.S. Business Summit, founder and president of A Perfect Love and a board member of Newshen International Consulting Group.

About Mr. Steven Shen

An entrepreneur with more than four decades of experience, Mr. Shen currently operates eight active companies in the United States and two in Beijing.

Prior to his career, Mr. Shen earned a bachelor's degree in literature from Peking University in Beijing in 1983. He obtained a master's degree in radio and television from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois, in 1991. In addition to his work in business, he has been an editor, reporter, freelance writer, producer, teacher and consultant. He has written two autobiographical books, "America is Also Ridiculous" in 2010 and "America is Crazy" in 2023. His article "My Children Deserve the Whole World," published in 2021, was positively received by readers and resulted in $130,000 in donations for families in need.

In 2019, Mr. Shen founded A Perfect Love, a nonprofit organization that provides financial support to American families who have adopted abandoned children from China. He divides his time between this nonprofit and his various other companies.

"I am very proud of the achievement of my agency called A Perfect Love, through which we give weekly donations to families who adopt Chinese children with special needs. As of last week, we have made contributions to 108 U.S. families," Mr. Shen said.

A Commitment to Helping Children in Need

Mr. Shen notes that more than 20,000 American families have collectively adopted more than 100,000 abandoned children from China. A Perfect Love's mission is to provide aid to families that face financial hardship after adopting children from China, particularly those who have special needs. The organization has 20 distinct projects to serve these families and the adoption community as a whole by raising awareness, assisting with medical expenses, providing language-learning instruction and more.

"I have been doing that [helping families] for over six years, even throughout the pandemic. Now, we have enlarged our previous scope to include not only American families who adopt Chinese children with special needs but also any American families who adopt Asian children with special needs," Mr. Shen said.

Mr. Shen has also supported A Perfect Love's mission to help children with special needs by producing the "A Perfect Love" documentary about an American family that adopted six special-needs Chinese children. He has a history of producing and financing documentaries, having received close to 100 awards from different film festivals since 2008.

The China-U.S. Business Summit was born out of Mr. Shen's desire to bring American and Chinese entrepreneurs together to participate in high-end events. The mission of the summit is to connect entrepreneurs in compatible businesses. The China-US Business Summit holds forums on a range of subjects, including entertainment, finance and investment.

"This is actually my mission - to strengthen ties between China and the U.S., to help people understand that the two countries can understand each other better. A Perfect Love and the China-U.S. Business Summit both function the same way. That is why I call myself a nongovernmental ambassador between the two nations," Mr. Shen said.
