Engage PEO Strengthens Industry Differentiation; Vanessa Matsis-McCready Promoted to Vice President of Human Resources Services

Fort Lauderdale, FL, USA - March 13, 2023 - Engage PEO, a leading professional employer organization (PEO) providing HR outsourcing solutions to small and mid-sized businesses across the U.S., is pleased to announce Vanessa Matsis-McCready has been promoted to the position of Vice President of HR Services in addition to her current title of Associate General Counsel, effective immediately. She was previously Director of HR.

Matsis-McCready leads Engage's team of internal attorneys located across the country who provide HR consulting and guidance to Engage clients regarding compliance, strategy, and a full suite of HR services. Engage is the only PEO where HR consulting and compliance are delivered to clients directly by a team of licensed attorneys.

Matsis-McCready joined Engage in 2014 as an Assistant General Counsel and HR Manager and has supported Engage clients - nationally with a focus in the Northeast - on a wide range of complex labor and employment issues. Before joining Engage, she was an employee relations manager at a unionized public utility where she managed employee and labor relations issues for 500+ employees. She also previously handled HR compliance issues for Time Inc., was an associate at Kaye Scholer LLP, now Arnold & Porter, and was a law clerk at Kane Kessler P.C. for the Labor and Employment group.

Matsis-McCready earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations and a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law.
