Big Lots shares gain 15% after Mill Road discloses stake, advises sale

Big Lots Inc. shares gained roughly 15% to $36.84 after Mill Road Capital III GP LLC disclosed a 5.1% stake in the discount retailer and sent a letter to the company about pursuing a sale.
