To nurture the leaders of tomorrow, IWIL aims to publicize the profound contribution of women to the country's GDP; encouraging women entrepreneurship, capacitating women leaders, and emboldening the women-led business ecosystem to frame a future of socially and economically independent women. In its mission to achieve the same, it has built a large footprint across 20 cities spanning 85 business schools and 5000 plus women entrepreneurs building awareness on entrepreneurship amongst aspiring and budding entrepreneurs, during the pandemic and bolstering the larger goal of Aatamnirbhar Bharat

 IWIL India was founded in 2015 with the primary goal of building a digital skillset and helping women scale their businesses through technology. They have run several other programs like "Prerna", "Vivoki" and "Shakti "to inspire young women towards bracing their skill sets in technology and helping them become independent.

Indian Women Institutional League (IWIL) has already covered approximately 55,000 women, over 400 startups, and 85 Business Schools across 25 cities in India over its journey of two years.

We have also done several Impact and awareness programs for Women during the Pandemic. These included virtual workshops on mental health, career transition, self-confidence and building and inclusion & Diversity in partnerships with several prestigious organizations like Confederation of Indian Industry, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, TCS, and India Israel Women Business Forum spanning across India

 

Female entrepreneurs have contributed immensely to the Indian economy, with women-owned businesses employing over 13 million people. Studies have revealed that 1/3 of Indian women entrepreneurs work in the agriculture sector, followed by manufacturing and retail trade.
