Today, Red Songbird Foundation (RSF) will be presenting the first-ever, Jason Davis Scholarship at Nancy Davis’s highly respected annual Race to Erase MS event in Los Angeles. This award will go to a much needing and deserving individual who is struggling with MS in conjunction with substance use disorder or extreme depression.
The RSF proudly presents this award on behalf of Jason Davis, whose energy was electric, heart was loving, but most of all, had a desire to help all people heal from tough life challenges, especially for those less fortunate.
Similar to The Red Songbird Foundation’s mission, Jason wanted to bridge the gap between individuals and the help they needed. With the support of Race To Erase MS, RSF wants to honor Jason by awarding one individual a full treatment program that addresses his or her mental health and addiction or substance abuse needs.

The initiative comes to fruition on the same day founder of RSF, Hilary Roberts, released her long-awaited, self-titled debut album. Already released off the album, "Fight to the Other Side", also known as the song that saved a life, tells the story of Hilary’s friend, mentor, and survivor of MS, Annie Blake.
Earlier this month, Hilary and RSF announced its first-ever Jaana Woodbury Scholarship, which launched on September 1 and will feature a one in-kind 90-day treatment scholarship worth approximately $90K to help women with trauma and substance abuse.

ABOUT THE RED SONGBIRD FOUNDATION
Hilary Roberts started the work of the Red Songbird Foundation (RSF) a decade ago and made the foundation official in 2019. A survivor herself, the foundation aims to help survivors of trauma caused by sexual, physical, and verbal abuse, by providing counseling, assisting members to enter treatment, and by integrating members into support groups that specifically address their primary issues.
