The company recently released a regulatory and clinical update on the vital program with etripamil after meeting the FDA. Also, Tupperware Brands Corporation (NASDAQ:TUP) has gained 130.32% over the past month. The company released its Q2 results last week and sales dropped 16% from a year ago to $397.4 million. Net income in the quarter increased by 62% to around $63.8 million or $1.3 per share compared to last years' net income of $39.4 million and $0.81 earnings per share. The company CEO stated that the exceptional results in Q2 were due to the company's new growth strategy and the progress made in right-sizing the cost structure and boosting liquidity.
Recently, Tupperware entered a collaboration with Swiggy Genie & Dunzo. Swiggy Genie will help the company in delivering its products in 32 cities as well as Dunzo in 13 cities. Tupperware launched 55 stores in India and has since re-opened the stores following shutdowns due to pandemic.
Sogou announces Special Committee to review Tencent takeover
