BUFFALO GROVE, Ill. — January 20, 2020 — VREF Aircraft Value Reference, Appraisal & Litigation Services has assisted Elliot Jets in the sale of its first Garmin G5000-Equipped Citation 560XL.

VREF is trusted by professionals in the aviation market to provide a transparent and knowledgeable aircraft appraisal, as well as litigation counseling services to law firms, banks, financial institutions, leasing companies, manufacturers, aircraft owners, aircraft operators, and suppliers.

“Elliot Jets is a leader in brokerage, acquisition, and trades, and our team is proud to have worked with them on the sale of their first Garmin G5000-Equipped Citation 560XL,” said Jason Zillerbrand, president and CTO of VREF. “We’re looking forward to working with future clients seeking our expertise in aircraft.”

The Citation 560XL is known for its short-field performance while still offering the comfort of a midsize jet. At 18 feet long, the 560XL’s cabin provides comfort for up to nine passengers with a large forward refreshment center. The 560XL now qualifies for a Garmin G5000 flight deck retrofit, which is an excellent long-term solution to the aging Primus 1000 avionics package. Nearly 700 aircraft in this fleet will receive the retrofit.

VREF clients have access to an online database and printed version of 450 aircraft models, ranging from corporate jets to engines. While known for corporate jets, clients may also seek a helicopter appraisal from VREF.

Clients subscribe to “VREF Online” to help sell, insure or loan an aircraft. If a client is in the market to buy or sell, VREF’s jet appraisal services provide comprehensive evaluations to determine the current market value and forecasted residual value. Their value report is considered the “CarFax” for aircraft, including a Certificate of Evaluation and background report.

As experts in air crafts and the aviation industry, VREF litigation consultants possess the skills and experience to investigate issues, support client depositions, consult witnesses and testify in court, if needed. They have previously testified in U.S. Federal Court on behalf of clients.

VREF provides the official guide of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) and is an active member of the National Business Aviation Association, NAFA Fleet Management Association, Experimental Aircraft Association and many more.
