LOCATE Inventory Elevates Zack Schiffelbein to Chief Executive Officer

LOCATE Inventory, a Southern California-based technology company that is disrupting the ERP industry with its revolutionary, cloud-based inventory and order management software application, has elevated Zack Schiffelbein to the role of chief executive officer. He takes over for George Keliher, who will now head LOCATE’s board of directors.

“This is an incredible opportunity and I’m thankful to George and our entire team,” said Schiffelbein. “As more and more businesses pivot away from traditional brick-and-mortar retail toward mobile, digital and e-commerce, there’s going to be an even greater need for LOCATE’s inventory management software solution. I’m excited for the road ahead and the chance to lead our incredibly talented team.”

“I have the utmost confidence in Zack and it just felt like the right time to step aside,” added Keliher. “I’ve seen him grow and I know LOCATE won’t miss a beat with Zack leading the way.”

Schiffelbein’s elevation is the latest in a series of recent moves for LOCATE. In November, the company lured former Intuit executive Annie Terry from the Silicon Valley to take over as chief business officer.

A native of Orange County (Calif.), Schiffelbein studied at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo. He began his career in tech with Spy Optic, working as a help desk technician and network administrator during two separate stints. In between, he spent a year-and-a-half working as a solutions specialist for IMARC LLC. In 2011, Keliher hired Schiffelbein to join his team at Fishbooks Pro and he remained there until 2017 when he followed Keliher to help launch LOCATE.

LOCATE is lauded for the enterprise-level inventory management features it delivers to the mid-market. It offers more features than traditional ERP platforms and does so at an affordable price-point for SMBs. LOCATE’s cloud-based solution eliminates the data caps and volume constraints found in traditional inventory software applications, while offering everything from warehouse basics, such as kitting, barcoding and tracking, to advanced manufacturing workflows like drop-shipping, outsource manufacturing and wave-picking.

Named a Top-10 QuickBooks App in 2017, LOCATE processed more than $500M in invoiced transactions in 2019, its highest total to-date. Micro Kickboard, The Splash Lab and Würkin Stiffs are among companies currently utilizing LOCATE’s game-changing application.
