G&S Business Communications Names Steve Halsey Chief Growth Officer

To fuel long-term growth across its offices in New York, Chicago, Raleigh and Basel, Switzerland, G&S Business Communications (G&S) is announcing the appointment of Steve Halsey to be the firm’s first-ever Chief Growth Officer (CGO).

As CGO, Halsey has overall responsibility for the sales, marketing, innovation and service development functions of G&S as well as supporting corporate strategy. He is charged with creating strong internal alignment across all agency disciplines with an eye toward innovation and growth and infusing sustained value-thinking into agency culture.

He spearheaded the development of the agency’s proprietary messaging and brand strategy services, IPower℠ and COMMPASS℠, and helped lead the creation and build-out of the agency’s digital, social and insights teams. Halsey is also actively engaged in the communications industry and was recently elected to the Operating Committee of Page Society’s Page Up organization.

In her new role, she will be responsible for keeping the agency’s brand top of mind through innovative sales and marketing communications initiatives.

Chris Martin has been named Vice President of Creative and Brand Experience. Under Martin’s leadership, the G&S creative team has grown to 21 full-time members and expanded its range of service offerings and capabilities. In his new role, he will be responsible for the visual elements of the G&S brand, as well as infusing creativity, fresh thinking and experience-based marketing throughout the agency.
