Village Health Partners Expands Footprint in North Texas

Expansion Strengthens North Texas Independent Primary Care

PLANO, Texas - November 14, 2019 - (Newswire.com)

Village Health Partners announced its expansion into Frisco this week by merging with primary care practice Texas Family Medicine. Both practices are members of Catalyst Health Network, a North Texas-based network of independent primary care physicians focused on providing transformative, comprehensive care that improves the health of patients while empowering independent primary care physicians.

Village Health Partners prides itself on a modern approach to whole-person wellness and integrative healthcare. Providers are empowered to promote the value of running autonomous practices, allowing them to practice medicine in a way that adapts to patients' needs. By having a patient-centric approach, providers can utilize emerging medical advancements, like integrative medicine techniques, that complement a patient's care plan.

"Village Health Partners is excited for the opportunity to continue to serve the North Texas community through our merger with Texas Family Medicine," said Chief Operations Officer Patrick Figures. "We believe this will help bring better services to patients, drawing on the strengths of both practices."

The two practices will serve 90,000 patients in the Plano, McKinney, and Frisco area and will be Village Health Partners' introduction to the city of Frisco.

"We have long-standing ties to the city of Frisco and are proud to call the rest of North Texas our family," said Brandi Cook, Texas Family Medicine administrator.

The merger between Village Health Partners and Texas Family Medicine gives patients greater access to a full suite of services including preventive care, management of acute and chronic illnesses, mental health counseling, nutritional services, endocrinology, dermatology, testing, and cosmetic procedures.

"Village Health Partners has always put the patient first, focusing on compassionate, convenient, and high-quality care, and we believe that Texas Family Medicine shares our values and culture," said Jamison Albracht, Village Health Partners president and physician. "We look forward to seeing Frisco as part of our home."
