Fennemore Craig Welcomes New Class of Associates

PHOENIX - Oct. 24, 2019 - PRLog -- Fennemore Craig, a leading law firm in the Mountain West, announced that their latest class of associates, including attorneys Sean Berens, Sabrina Bigelow, Haley Carr, Steven Hilton, Ayan Jacobs, James Lawrence, Justin Robles and Holly Walker, have joined the firm.

Sean M. Berens joins the Real Estate practice group at Fennemore Craig and is based in the Phoenix office. Berens handles transactions representing both large and small developers, lenders, special servicers, hospitality entities, private equity groups and other similar parties in the acquisition, disposition, financing and development of real estate assets. Berens earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School where he was the managing editor of the Columbia Journal of European Law and his B.A. summa cum laude from the University of South California.

Sabrina Bigelow joins Fennemore Craig's Real Estate practice group and is based in the Phoenix office. Her work focuses primarily on real estate transactions, such as assisting developers and homebuilders with the purchase, sale, and lease of commercial properties. Bigelow earned her J.D. summa cum laude from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law where she was the Senior Articles Editor of the Arizona Law Review and received her B.A. from the University of Arizona.

Haley Carr joins Fennemore Craig's Phoenix office as a member of the firm's ERISA/Employee Benefits and Business Litigation practice groups. Her employee benefits work is focused helping employers with the administration of their benefit plans under important federal laws including ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and HIPAA. Her litigation work focuses on representing employers in federal and state courts, in all stages of litigation, including breach of contract matters and disability discrimination actions. Carr earned her J.D. summa cum laude from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law and her B.A. summa cum laude from Millikin University.

Steven Hilton is the newest member of Fennemore Craig's Trusts and Estates practice and is based in the firm's Phoenix office where he focuses primarily on planning, preparing and administering trusts and estates for high-net worth individuals. Hilton earned his J.D. magna cum laude, his M.S. and B.S. in accounting, all from Brigham Young University.

Ayan Jacobs joins Fennemore Craig's Labor and Employment Law and Business Litigation practice groups and is based in the firm's Phoenix office where she focuses on matters such as contract disputes, wrongful termination and labor and employment class-actions suits. Jacobs earned her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law and her B.A. from Cornell University.

James Lawrence joins Fennemore Craig's Business and Finance practice and is working out of the firm's Phoenix office. He focuses primarily in the areas of entity formation, partnership and corporate tax matters, mergers and acquisitions and other complex business transactions. Lawrence earned his J.D. summa cum laude from the Arizona State University Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law and his B.A. from the University of Nevada, Reno.

Justin A. Robles joins Fennemore Craig's Phoenix office as a member of the Business Litigation practice group where he focuses primarily on commercial litigation, including a broad array of construction matters between owners, general contractors and subcontractors. Robles earned his J.D. cum laude from the Arizona State University Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law where he was the Research Editor for the Arizona State Law Journal, and his B.S. from the University of Arizona.

Holly Walker is the newest associate in Fennemore Craig's Las Vegas office, working in the Labor and Employment Law practice group. Her work focuses on representing employers in federal and state courts, in all stages of litigation, including breach of contract matters and disability discrimination actions. Walker earned her J.D. cum laude from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law and her B.A. summa cum laude from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
