Midas Finds His Voice with Therapy Provided By The Warren Center

Richardson-Nonprofit Asks the Community to Give to Kids with Developmental Delays and Disabilities This North Texas Giving Day

DALLAS, TX, September 19, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Warren Center, a nonprofit agency providing professional evaluations, therapy services and support to children with developmental delays and disabilities is proud to participate in North Texas Giving day on Thursday, September 19, 2019.

"Over the past 15 years, I have seen the direct impact of the support and therapy services provided by The Warren Center to families with children who have developmental delays and disabilities," says Amy Spawn, CEO of The Warren Center. "Many of the families we serve are not able to afford the costs associated with having a child with special needs. Since we were founded, we have never turned a child away because of their family's inability to pay. Generous donors who choose to participate in our give to kids campaign on North Texas Giving Day will help us continue to serve even more families throughout DFW."

The Warren Center relies on the support of donations from the community to help children like 4-year-old Midas develop his voice. When Midas first came to The Warren Center's Clinic program his vocabulary was limited to five words. After receiving speech therapy services through The Warren Center, his vocabulary is now more than 100 words and growing. At The Warren Center every donation of $25 helps provide an hour of therapy. The nonprofit is hoping to raise 2,000 hours of therapy to help more children like Midas.
