MONTREAL, QUEBEC - TheNewswire - September 4, 2019 - Dundee Sustainable Technologies Inc. ("DST" or the "Corporation") (CNSX:DST.CN) is pleased to report the announcement of the plan from the governments of Canada, the Yukon and the North-West Territories to invest $2.2 billion over the next 20 years in the clean up of eight (8) abandoned mine sites. The largest of these sites is the Giant Mine in Yellowknife, where DST's GlassLock ProcessTM was rated as the top-ranked dust stabilization and processing method in an independent study conducted by Arcadis Canada Inc., an engineering firm in Canada.

Mr. Brian Howlett, President and CEO commented, "DST's GlassLock ProcessTM is well-suited to address the arsenic contamination issues around these abandoned mine sites by providing a permanent and stable solution to arsenic dusts and contamination."

For its part, DST is working on the following initiatives to further strengthen the GlassLock ProcessTM brand;

  1. a. DST is finalizing the industrial demonstration program at a metals processing facility in Africa and is looking forward to finalizing the report on the campaign in the coming months.

  2. b.DST expects to be working on some laboratory scale samples for the Giant Mine Oversight Board, where it will be compared against two competing alternatives in the very near future.

  3. c.DST is seeking engineering and environmental consulting partners in the remediation industry to address the challenges of the mine clean up.
