The State of the Air report identifies the following cities for being most likely to have the best outdoor and indoor air quality due to low year-round particle pollution:

  1. Cheyenne, WY

  2. Urban Honolulu, HI

  3. Casper, WY

  4. Bismarck, ND

  5. Kahului-Wailuku-Lahaina, HI

  6. Pueblo-Canon City, CO

  7. Elmira-Corning, NY

  8. Palm Bay-Melbourne-Titusville, FL

  9. Sierra Vista-Douglas, AZ

  10. Wenatchee, WA
