Borrego Springs Unified High School District launches a New Independent Study Program. This program is open for 6-12th grade students, and is conducted online for flexibility. There are no fees for tuition, and students have the ability to catch up or graduate early. Students are still able to participate in sports, field trips, clubs, as well as attend their graduation from BSUSD.
Borrego Springs Unified School District (BSUSD) is proud to launch their new independent study program. This program is open for 6-12th grade students, and is conducted online for flexibility. There are no fees for tuition, and students have the ability to catch up or graduate early. Students are still able to participate in sports, field trips, clubs, as well as attend their graduation from BSUSD.
The program offers online and in-person learning with next-generation digital curriculum. Students also have the opportunity for job training through BSUSD’s Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act partnerships, which allow students to earn credit while researching a potential new career. Students also receive free tutoring and one-on-one teacher mentoring.
