The auction was a success as indicated by the prices realized by the featured lots. Dubbed Auction #438, the public stamp sale featured 1,734 lots in total.

United States Collections, Accumulations, and Stocks fetched the highest prices with many lots going for several thousand dollars. An outstanding almost entirely mint 19th and 20th century collection of commemoratives was auctioned for $19,500. A well laid out mint and used 1845//1982 collection, housed in four like brand new Lindner hingeless albums with slip cases, from the prairie estate fetched $15,000. And Israel and Palestine currency from 1929 to 1973 in a binder and slipcase went for $14,500.
The lowest earners in the recently concluded Auction #438 were General Foreign philatelic collectibles from Great Britain, Ireland, Italy & Areas, Monaco, Qatar, Rhodesia, Vatican City, and United States & General Foreign Single Covers. On average, United States Collections, Accumulations, and Stocks fetched the highest prices with most lots going for more than $1,000. The next public auction will be held on February 16-17, 2019.
