NuLife Announces Relocation; Moves Corporate Headquarters to Louisiana

NEWPORT BEACH, CA / ACCESSWIRE / October 22, 2018 / NuLife Sciences, Inc. (OTCQB: "NULF") announced today that it has made the decision to relocate its corporate headquarters from Newport Beach, CA to Lafayette, LA.

According to NuLife Chairman Louis J. Resweber, this move is part of an overall strategic redirection of the Company, and should result in a significant reduction in operating costs on a going forward basis.

In August, NuLife entered into a merger agreement with LJR Security Services, Inc., which was based in Lafayette, and which is focused on the life safety and electronic security industry. In early October, the Company announced that it had elected Resweber, the former Owner of LJR Security, as its new Chairman, President & Chief Executive Officer.

In making this move, Resweber explained that (over the past five years) Lafayette area has been recognized as:

  • the # 1 metropolitan area in the entire U.S. for overall economic growth, according to Area Development magazine;
  • the # 5 city in the nation for new job development, according to a study conducted by Business Facilities magazine;
  • the # 6 city in the United States for the pace of economic growth, as ranked by the Burea of Economic Analysis;
  • one of the Top 10 small cities, in terms of economics and foreign direct investment, according to FDI Magazine;
  • one of the Top 25 performing cities (for the 6th time in 7 years) according to an index from the Milken Institute;
  • one of the Top 10 healthiest U.S. cities, according to a Gallup-Healthways poll published by 24/7wallstreet.com;
  • and Lafayette was also named the "Happiest City in America" in a Wall Street Journal "Market Watch" report based on a National Bureau of Economic Research study conducted by the University of British Columbia and Harvard.

"We are extremely proud to call Lafayette our new home," said Resweber, "and we are thrilled to relocate into our new corporate headquarters in the beautiful Park Tower Complex - owned and beautifully managed by Rault Resources - which is still one of the most desirable and architecturally stunning hi-rise edifices in the entire Acadiana Region."

For Resweber - a native of Acadiana - this relocation marks a "homecoming" of sorts, after a 35-year business career that has included corporate transfers to California, Texas and other parts of Louisiana. Having begun his career in Lafayette, in the late 1970's, Resweber actually participated in the Grand Opening of the Park Tower in 1983, which was originally known as the Celeron Building. Resweber was an employee of Celeron Oil & Gas Corporation, the only Lafayette-based public company listed on the New York Stock Exchange (CEL), at that time.

In addition to its move to Lafayette, Resweber reported that the Company is also currently in the process of searching for a strategic location in the Houston, Texas area from which it can spearhead planned operations in that state.

"From these two locations, we feel we will be perfectly positioned to execute our business plan of pursuing emerging merger and acquisition (M&A) opportunities in the rapidly-growing, $22 billion domestic security industry," said Resweber.

"In fact, since August, in the short time since we announced our strategic change of direction - and our tactical move into the electronic security sector - we have already generated tremendous interest among independent alarm dealers and systems integrators in our unique portfolio of products and services," Resweber concluded.
