Janney Names Jessica Landis Head of Investment Solutions

Janney Montgomery Scott LLC (“Janney”), a leading full-service wealth management, financial services, and investment banking firm headquartered in Philadelphia, PA, announced Jessica L. Landis, CFP®, ChFC®, has been promoted to Head of Investment Solutions. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the ongoing marketing and support of all investment and insurance company solutions as well as the firm’s retail equity, option, preferred and fixed income trading efforts.

Based out of the firm’s Philadelphia headquarters, Ms. Landis joined Janney in 2016 after serving as a financial advisor with Legacy Planning Partners. Prior to her promotion, she served as Janney’s Director of Financial Planning and led the day-to-day management and operations of the firm’s Wealth Planning team. Under her leadership, the team won a 2018 WealthManagement.com Industry Award in the technology category for the launch and development of Janney’s comprehensive financial planning platform.

Ms. Landis regularly authors articles on various financial planning topics for Janney and is frequently quoted in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, US News & World Report, MarketWatch, Yahoo! Finance and NerdWallet. She is Certified Financial PlannerTM (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) and is currently enrolled in the SIFMA Securities Industries Institute program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She earned a B.A. in Communication Studies and a B.S. in Finance from West Chester University.
