STUART, Fla. - Sept. 24, 2018 - PRLog -- Local job seekers are invited to participate in the Fall 2018 Martin County Aviation, Marine and Manufacturing Career Fair. The free event will be located at Indian River State College, Chastain Campus in the Wolf High Technology Center on Thursday, October 11 from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Veterans and pre-registrants receive early entry at 2:30 pm.
"It's a job seekers' market. We are teeing up an opportunity for those who are pursuing and developing careers in the aviation, marine and manufacturing industries to get in front of desirable employers who are right here in our Martin County backyard," said Tim Dougher, Executive Director, Business Development Board of Martin County.
"We want job seekers to know that Martin County has desirable, competitive jobs that can help them build long-lasting careers. Our county is a beautiful place to live and work. This career fair will demonstrate that we have broader employment opportunities to offer beyond tourism."
The career fair is possible thanks to the partnership between Indian River State College, the Business Development Board of Martin County, CareerSource Research Coast, Martin County, Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1401, The City of Stuart, United Way of Martin County – Senior Corps, Young Professionals of Martin County, Palm City Action Team, and Stuart Business Systems.
