Veteran artist Caanan White has partnered with Ikari Press to produce the supernatural comic book series "Brand." "Brand" follows a group of superpowered warriors tasked with protecting the earth and preventing the impending apocalypse.

"Brand" follows its main character Dawn Craven, a human woman who falls in love with a mysterious warrior named David who is branded with the mark of Cain. David takes Dawn as his wife and begins to teach her to hunt the supernatural while facing powerful billionaire Lionel Solomon and the mysterious group known as the Covenant and the evil Dark Santana.

"Brand" is currently trending on crowdfunding site Indiegogo and has raised nearly $40,000 to date, winning fans over with the breathtaking art that White produced for the campaign. White's incredible eye for detail caught the attention of former DC Comics veteran and New York Times bestselling artist Ethan Van Sciver who invited Caanan and Brand creator Antonio Brice onto his Youtube channel Comic Artist Pro Secrets to speak to his 77,000 subscribers.

White's talents have not gone unnoticed in the last few years. He teamed with Kieron Gillen (The Wicked + The Divine) on the World War II supernatural thriller Uber. He also collaborated with World War Z author Max Brooks on Harlem Hellfighters, which was optioned by Will Smith's Overbrook Entertainment and Jay Longino on Son of Shaolin, optioned by Dwayne Johnson's Seven Bucks productions. White and Brice hope to turn "Brand" into a mainstream franchise and want to see films, television, and video games produced from the property. Ikari Press has already seen strong sales of their licensed t-shirts on Amazon.com and TeePublic. After "Brand," Caanan will partner with veteran comic scribe Mike Baron to work on the tentatively titled "American Manga" a creator-owned series from Ethan Van Sciver which be released through his newly formed ALL CAPS comics imprint.
