The Merriam-Webster online dictionary has two descriptions for the word safety that equally pertain to this new product 1: the condition of being safe from undergoing or causing hurt, injury, or loss, 2: a device designed to prevent inadvertent or hazardous operation. Both descriptions perfectly pertain to this new product, Doggone Safety. Doggone Safety is a specially designed line of pet accessories which would be wearable garments and bands for both the animals and their owners to ensure that they would be clearly visible after nightfall.
The product is comprised primarily of stretchy cotton and plastic material with heavy duty, self-affixing Velcro fasteners incorporated to afford a comfortable, customized fit. The Doggone Safety line includes a vest that extends over the animal's back and torso and is held comfortably in place by Velcro strap fasteners secured over the animal's belly. Anklets are also offered in the line that wrap directly above the paws. Also included would be adjustable collars. Corresponding safety accessories for wear by pet owners include wristbands, headbands, vests and belts. The Doggone Safety accessories have reflective surfaces easily seen even in the darkest environment. The line includes neon shades of green, yellow and orange, as well as a dazzling metallic white. Products from the line are offered in a variety of sizes to accommodate toy, small, medium and large dog breeds. Accessories for wear by humans are one-size-fits-all or in a range of sizes for wear by men and women. The Doggone Safety line is offered as a set, with a pet set featuring a vest and collar for the animal and adjustable reflective belt for wear by their human companion. Other accessories in the line are sold separately enabling the user to purchase items in the line as desired.
