Jason Kulpa, San Diego Business Journal’s “Most Admired CEO” in 2015 has recently launched a new scholarship to support budding entrepreneurs. The $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to one outstanding innovator who is determined to start and grow a small business of their own. Eligible students must submit a 500-word essay through the Jason Kulpa Entrepreneur Scholarship website.
Jason Kulpa comes from years of experience working in operations roles throughout the tech industry. Kulpa founded UE.co in 2008 to put his talents and knowledge to use in the best way possible. He has served as the CEO of the company for nine years and has irrefutably demonstrated that a community-minded approach to employee culture can spur the kind of growth and innovation demanded by today’s tech industry.

Eligibility: In order to be eligible for this $1,000 scholarship, applicants must be high school seniors that have already been accepted into an accredited college, university, design or trade school, or are currently enrolled at an accredited college, university, design or trade school.
Requirements: Applicants must submit a short, 500-word essay on the Jason Kulpa Entrepreneur Scholarship website answering the following question: “How will education prepare you for the challenges of earning an independent living?”
Deadline: The Jason Kulpa Entrepreneur Scholarship Committee will award one (1) $1,000 scholarship for the best-submitted entry once the application period closes on Aug. 15, 2018. A winner will be selected in September 2018. Once contacted, the winner will have two weeks to respond. If the winner does not respond, a new winner will be selected.
