Free calibration program promotes accurate sensing

By: PRLog
IRVINE, Calif. - July 10, 2018 - PRLog -- Meggitt Sensing Systems, a division of Meggitt PLC, has released details of a new program to enhance the value of your investment by ensuring accurate measurements for the life of the sensor.

For any Endevco standard, catalog accelerometer, you can receive a free calibration.  Also included is a new calibration certificate stating the sensor's performance.

To receive the complimentary calibration, customers are asked to return the accelerometer to Meggitt (Orange County) along with a completed Return Material Authorization (RMA) form. The program has a starting date of January 1, 2018 and applies to all Endevco accelerometer technologies - PE, IEPE, Piezoresistive, and Capacitive.

Annual calibration is recommended for accelerometers and their associated instrumentation to ensure the continued accuracy of dynamic measurements. Calibrations are performed by qualified technicians supervised by experienced engineering staff and comply with standards established by the National Metrology Institute.
