5 Reasons Why You Should Start Working From Home (And 5 Why You Shouldn't)

By: PRLog
In this age of instant access to all the world's information with the click of a button, making money online has become easier than ever. However, most people have not taken advantage of this goldmine of opportunities.
July 9, 2018 - PRLog -- It's really quite astonishing how ignorant people are when it comes to making money. Our parents, teachers, and professors have all told us the same things: If you want to make money, you need a good education, a good amount of work experience, and a good job. Perhaps this would be true -- if you grew up twenty years ago. In the 21st century, making money is as easy as sitting in front of a computer, clicking around websites and stroking a few keys for as little as half an hour.

In this article, we will look at just a few of the reasons you should start earning money in this way today while the online industry is hot. Then, we'll look at some of the reasons why an online job may not be suitable for you.

So without further ado, here's why you should start working from home:

1.) You'll never be late for work

Believe it or not, making consistent money doesn't require you to work eight hours a day, five days a week. With a home-based business, you could dedicate as little as half an hour of your day to your work or four hours plus. Regardless of how much you decide to work, you're not required to wake up earlier than usual or do overtime hours. Just work whenever is most convenient for you. You set the deadlines, you do the work.

2.) You'll never get fired

You likely know somebody whose life has been ruined because they were fired or laid off from their job. Imagine how stupid they would have felt if they found out they could have had a backup source of income this entire time that only required a half hour a day. Wouldn't it be smart to start now than spend weeks looking for a new job if the time ever came? Making money online doesn't just have to be a side income; it can be a primary one for when the time comes that you need one. And if you get big with your home-based business, you probably won't even miss your job, anyway.

3.) There's a huge demand for online work

The internet is the greatest source of information in the world. And information, especially that which can only be accessed from one source, is something people crave.

One excellent way to provide exclusive information to the world is by blogging. As a blogger, you might start your own website (or use a public one, if you like) and post your own content on it. They could be podcasts, essays, or just a transcript of your personal thoughts you think would keep viewers engaged. Just remember: While blogging can pay well, you must stay creative and you must put time and effort into your blogs.

An easy alternative to blogging is vlogging. Vlogging is basically the same as blogging, except you record your content on a camcorder instead of typing it all out on the computer. You can post your vlogs to YouTube, or the increasingly popular video-sharing site, LBRY. Ads will run on your videos (so long as they're advertiser-friendly), and Google AdSense will pay you commissions from those ads.

4.) It will [have the potential to] pay you very well

If you feel like putting in the effort, get ready for checks like you've never received before. You could be making around $200 in a single day's work.

With affiliate marketing, you'll start small. With fifty subscribers on your email list, expect less than $80 a week. But you don't keep all this money. You invest it. You pay people to advertise for you, and your paychecks get bigger. Then you can pay for even more advertisements. As you advertise more and get more people to purchase your products, you will notice your pay will compound, increasing exponentially. You could be making over 60 grand a week!

5.) The work can be really, really easy

There's no excuse not to be earning loads of extra money when all it requires of you is to sit in front of a computer every day from the comfort of your own home. This kind of work can be as mind-numbingly simple as doing paid surveys you don't even have to answer honestly.

Of course, there is always the possibility you just aren't suited for a home-based business. Here's a few reasons:

1.) You lack any sort of motivation whatsoever

Are you going to get one sentence into your first blog and then open another tab to check out what's trending on Twitter? Forget it. You need to focus on your work and stay involved. Otherwise, you'll be wasting your time.

2.) There's the possibility you'll have to invest

People have spent hundreds on advertising their products. If you're financially unstable, you may feel uncomfortable spending so much online. But if you remain dedicated, it will all be worth it. The key is you have to be dedicated.

3.) You'll be wasting your precious time

How much time do you get to yourself every day? Eight hours? If you can't even put one of those into your online business, you need to learn to prioritize first.

4.) You're terrible with computers

Unless you're so bad that you can't even open up the internet on the computer, this shouldn't be you. Many of the people reading this article are on the internet right now. Most online jobs don't require tons of experience. And if you do have trouble, there are a plethora of online tutorials to help you out.

5.) You neither need nor want extra money

It's hard to be too poor to work online. But perhaps you have all your time and money invested in some offline business that makes you millions every year. There's no problem with that. Just keep doing what you've been doing.
