Onata - Universe of Services Now Being Exhibited/Promoted in Neighborhoods Across New Jersey

By: PRLog
EDISON, N.J. - July 5, 2018 - PRLog -- Onata - Universe of Services, a premier ecosystem for service seekers and service providers, launched its Neighborhood Services a while back. In a drive to facilitate a hands-on experience of the app feature among neighborhood dwellers, the Onata team is traveling across neighborhoods in the New Jersey state.

The first live exhibition of the Onata NH Services app feature was held in Monmouth Junction on Friday, June 29 followed by another exhibition in the Colonia neighborhood on Sunday, July 1. The two neighborhoods have a combined population of over 20,000 people.

Onata is pitched to be the universe of services with any and all services available inside one ecosystem. Krishna Vemuri, CEO/CMO at Onata, shared his vision of the app at the event: "The Onata apps (referring to the Onata Provider and Onata Seeker apps) serve as a platform between Service Providers and Service Seekers just like Uber does for riders and passengers."

Vemuri further added: "Using the app, you can demand a service on demand or right now. You may also schedule a service for a week later. Moreover, you can just ask a service provider for an estimated budget or turnaround time."

Jyoti Vazirani, Founder President and Chief Customer Success Officer at Onata, summed up scope of the app for seekers: "With Onata, you can find services for yourself, a family member, your office, your pet, your appliance, and your automobile, too. Onata is here to help you with whatever service needs you have."

The Onata app also provides a range of options to service providers. Using Onata, providers can provide services after submitting their estimates to service seekers. Semi-skilled providers and handymen can provide services on demand or on schedule.

Narayan Ravisetti, COO and CFO at Onata elucidated more on Onata for service providers: "If you want to work within a travel distance or cycling distance, you can choose the timings that are convenient to you. Onata is also a platform where you can volunteer for causes close to you. Furthermore, you can leverage Onata's Lend & Borrow feature to lend anything from spare lawn tools to backyards and swimming pools."

Onata is in the middle of an aggressive drive to recruit service providers. While the team is ramping up for a grand launch in the middle of August, Onata users can start using the TRUSTED NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICES features of the app right away.

Narayan Ravisetti impressed upon the core philosophy of the app: "What we are trying to do at Onata is extremely ambitious - we are looking at a place where technology brings together people that have been driven apart from one another because of technology itself. Neighbors can now become trusted neighbors and cooperate with another and trust each other for services."

The Onata Neighborhood Services work using a dynamic 5-step flow: Offer, Define, Invite, Trust, and Seek. Services like picking and dropping off kids at events or schools can be sought and provided either for free or for a price.

Vazirani illustrated the Neighborhood service process: "On the whole, these are five that flow seamlessly. You define your neighborhood, which is the place around your house. You can make it as small or big as you want. You then invite your neighbors to join the Onata Neighborhood. Once the neighbors join, you can trust specific neighbors for specific services. From there, you can seek services or provide services if you like. The amazing bit is that you can use the same app to borrow items or seek items from others."

In the closing remarks, Priyadarshan Patil, Vice President Product Engineering impressed upon the new referral system for Neighborhood Services: "We're live with a competition for app users who are rebuilding their neighborhood with Onata. By the end of September 2018, whoever reaches the highest number of referrals gets a prize of $3000, provided the app crosses 7000 downloads."

"The rewards structure goes beyond the cash prize for the top winner," Patil continued. "We are rewarding each person that's contributing to building the neighborhood. For each neighbor that you trust for a service, we pay you $3. We also pay users 5% of the value generated through each of their referrals."

Onata Neighborhood Services are presently travelling in the New Jersey neighborhoods through the months of July and August.
