Blue Ox Rob Bacon Remodeling Expert Explains The Kitchen Remodeling Process

By: PRLog
Want to know the inside secrets of a kitchen remodel? Rob Bacon the owner of Blue Ox Contracting and Consulting of Conifer will explain the process and best way to remodel a kitchen.
EVERGREEN, Colo. - June 15, 2018 - PRLog -- Rob Bacon, a licensed General Contractor, had this to say, "My company Blue Ox Contracting and a Consulting installs over 200 kitchens a year so we have a process in place to get the job done in three weeks. Getting the remodeling project finished within three weeks makes for a much happier customer being you don't have the use of the dishwasher or sink during the remodeling period. First of all you need a good set of plans for a smooth remodel. My company Blue Ox Contracting and Consulting will send a Certified 3D Computer Room Planner for your In Home Planning session. You will be counseled on cabinet selection, cabinet colors, appliance selection, appliance placement, flooring, electrical, and plumbing changes. By the end of the planning appointment you will have a full set of plans and a material parts list so you can purchase your new kitchen cabinetry and appliances. Next, Blue Ox will send a licensed General Contractor to your home to estimate the other parts of your kitchen remodel like demolition of old cabinetry, electrical changes, lighting, flooring, wall tears outs, island construction, backsplash, tile setting, painting, and any other needs to complete your kitchen. Once you have accepted the General Contracting estimate then you are ready to purchase your kitchen, and get on our schedule. On demo day everything unwanted like old cabinets, old appliances, backsplash  and  existing flooring get hauled away from your property. The next step is for the electrician to come in and perform the electrical rough in. This rough in is getting all the hard wiring changes performed and old switches and plugs removed. Drywall will be sealed up at this point and then you are ready for new flooring if needed. Now your project is clean and empty and you are ready for new cabinet installation. Blue Ox installs all types of cabinetry. Blue Ox has Certified Cabinet Installers that will install your cabinets and make sure they are level for the countertop template appointment. Template is just a cool word for measuring your granite or Quartz countertops. Most walls are not plumb and square so at the template appointment the walls are measured with a laser computer to make the sure the countertops when installed have a custom fit. Most countertop companies take two to four weeks for countertop installation. Blue Ox will install your stone countertops within 5 days of the template appointment. That's right I said it. Five days for countertop installation. Now you are ready for appliance installation and then the backsplash installation. Blue Ox will install all types of backsplash like subway tile, glass, mosaics, and etc. When the backsplash installation is complete then you are ready for the electrician to install all outlet covers, switch covers, appliance plugs, under cabinet lighting, and other lighting changes. The only other items should be some paint touch ups and installing cabinet handles. Blue Ox serves all mountain communities and we are based in Conifer. Call 720-412-0203 for a FREE General Contracting estimate and I will personally come to your home to estimate your new kitchen project. Blue Ox is a licensed General Contracting company that specializes in interior remodeling. Lots of local references and we will even take you on ongoning remodeling sites and come see our work.
