Veteran Transition Program Launches in Maryland

By: PRLog
BALTIMORE - June 5, 2018 - PRLog -- Former US Army Captain Annie Brock is joining forces with LTC Bob DiGiacomo US Army (ret) of Hamilton, Bermuda; Col Don Gleason USAF (ret) of San Antonio, Texas; and LTJG John Mullins USCGR (ret) of Virginia Beach, Virginia, to provide training, coaching, and mentoring for transitioning service members, veterans, and their spouses.

Changing Focus is a rigorous three-day program of training, coaching, and mentoring for transitioning service members, veterans, and their spouses that supplements Department of Defense (DoD) mandated programs for service members who will leave, or who have left, active duty within the next/past two years. All veterans, regardless of when they left active duty, are eligible to attend.

"We have heard from many veterans that the DoD transition programs have gaps. Additionally, they are "one and done" programs. Changing Focus: Moving From We to Me fills those gaps and provides follow-on training, coaching, and mentoring." Annie S Brock, Founder, Changing Focus

Changing Focus is a sequence of training and interactive exercises conducted over a series of intensive indoor workshops and an outdoor experience. There is an extraordinary effect of going through this transformational program with a loved one, so spouses are encouraged to attend.

Two years in the making, Changing Focus is holding its first-ever session July 19-22, 2018 at the Westin BWI in Linthicum Heights, Maryland, with plans to hold quarterly sessions near military installations around the US in the future.

In addition to their extensive military experience, Brock, DiGiacomo, Gleason and Mullins are Executive Directors with the leadership expert John Maxwell Team and have taught transformational leadership in Guatemala, Paraguay, and Costa Rica with John C. Maxwell at the request of those countries' presidents.
