R.F. Moeller Jeweler, a third-generation family-owned Twin Cities jeweler, has purchased the commercial building which is home to its St. Paul retail store located at 2065 Ford Parkway. Previous owners and real estate agency Lunieski and Associates sold the property to R.F. Moeller, who had been tenants in the building since 1981. The closing of the sale was completed on May 24, 2018.
The Moeller family became interested in acquiring their St. Paul jewelry store’s building after witnessing the redevelopment of a neighboring property. Mark Moeller, CEO of R.F. Moeller Jeweler, remarked that the purchasing of the commercial building presented a unique opportunity to secure the future of their family’s business.
“It puts us in the position to control our own destiny,” says Moeller. “We’ve been a part of the St. Paul area for more than 65 years, and this allows us to continue giving back to this great community for the next 60 or more years to come.”
The building, which operates under the name Bernice LLC, is located on the northwest corner of Ford Parkway and Cleveland Avenue in the Highland Park area of St. Paul. It is also home to other independently owned businesses, including Block Advisors, Charlie & Violet Photography, Highland Grill, Quixotic Coffee and Cleveland Wok. Moeller concluded that it was also for this reason that R.F. Moeller decided to close on the property.
