We Won't Back Down!

Our Local 986 members at Sentinel Transportation voted 97% to overwhelmingly authorize a strike and take a stand against unsafe work practices.

LOS ANGELES, CA, April 11, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- These drivers deliver gasoline to Union 76 stations throughout Southern California and the Employer is demanding that they work over 60 hours a week and no overtime pay. This could have a severe impact on our communities with fatigued drivers, which are hauling up to 8,600 gallons of gasoline each trip on our congested freeways and local city streets.

Teamsters Local 986 will continue to negotiate a contract in good faith, however, we will fight this despicable act of corporate greed over safety!
