S2G Ventures Continues Momentum with Four Additions to the Team

CHICAGO - April 9, 2018 - PRLog -- S2G Ventures (Seed to Growth) a leading multi-stage investment firm focused on the food and agriculture industry, is pleased to announce four new additions to the team.

Cristina Rohr joined S2G as a Vice President. She will focus on identifying and evaluating investments in high growth companies across the food system. Prior to joining S2G Ventures, Cristina was a Senior Associate at The Edgewater Funds. Before joining The Edgewater Funds, Cristina was an Associate with First Reserve, where she focused on leveraged buyout investments in the natural resources industry, with particular focus on equipment and service businesses and mining related sectors. Cristina also previously worked for Citigroup Investment Banking Division. Ms. Rohr holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.A.S. degree with a double major in Mathematical and Computational Sciences and Economics from Stanford University.

Arthur Chow joined S2G as a Senior Associate.  Arthur began his career in investment banking at UBS in Chicago, with a focus on diversified industrials and energy.  He then joined Frontenac, a middle-market private equity firm based in Chicago, as an Associate focused on evaluating and executing new investments in the food and consumer industries.  Seeking to explore an operating role in consumer-packaged goods, Arthur joined the Kraft Heinz Company (KHC), where he served as an Associate Director in the Foodservice Business Unit of KHC, overseeing the commercial performance of a $2 billion P&L and working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, R&D, and operational team leaders.  Arthur received a B.B.A. from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and serves as an Associate Board member with the non-profit mentoring organization, Minds Matter.

Dan Ripma joined S2G as an Associate. His responsibilities include research, evaluation and execution of potential investments. Prior to S2G Ventures, he was an investment banking analyst focused on mergers & acquisitions across the industrial sector at Greenhill & Co. in Chicago. He graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. in Public Affairs.

Erin Cain joined S2G as the Office Manager and Administrative Assistant. Her responsibilities include daily operations, office administration, and work on various special projects. Prior to joining S2G, Erin served as Administrative Assistant and Supervisor at NORC at the University of Chicago. Within these roles, she specialized in longitudinal social science studies and developed data collection protocols for large-scale, multi-mode survey efforts. At the start of her career Erin was part of the visitor services team at the Art Institute of Chicago. Erin graduated from the Art Academy of Cincinnati with a B.F.A. in painting and art history.
