SILVER SPRING, Md. - March 14, 2018 - PRLog -- Media4Math is pleased to announce a new partnership with Google Earth for the creation of Google Voyager stories that focus on real world applications of math. The first Google Voyager Story is entitled, Math and Architecture: Circular Structures: https://earth.app.goo.gl/7uHBe.

The new Browser-based version Google Earth includes Voyager, which is a dynamic, digital magazine of map-based stories from around the world. This is the first of the math-based Google Voyager stories.

This free resource takes students on a map-based trip around the world to look at famous circular structures like the Roman Colosseum, the Capitol Rotunda, and more. These Google Voyager Stories include interactive Google Earth maps, videos, tutorials, and other math resources. These engaging math stories are ideal for use in middle school and high school math courses and for teachers looking for real-world applications of math. Engage your students in 21st-century math!

This first Google Voyager Story is being released on Pi Day. Other Google Voyager stories will be released in time for the ISTE conference in June.
