Manhattan, New York - March 13, 2018 - NeoDocto Foundation, USA collaborated with Sabarmati Samruddhi Seva Sangh (SSSS), Gujarat, India to eradicate malaria through ‘NeoDocto Malaria Eradication Programme’. Salvadore Fernandes, Director of SSSS informed that, we have joined hands with Mr. Madhukar Sanneerappa, the Global President and CEO of NeoDocto Inc. to control malaria in Gujarat under the umbrella of 'NeoDocto Malaria Eradication Programme'.
Malaria is an infectious disease primarily transmitted through the bite of an infected female Anopheles mosquito. Though, the disease is preventable and treatable, malaria threatens the lives of billions of people around the world. The Global President and CEO of NeoDocto Inc. said that “Despite remarkable progress, malaria remains an acute public health problem globally”. NeoDocto Malaria Eradication Programme has been launched to educate on the impact of malaria disease, promote early diagnosis and treatment to control malaria.
Sabarmati Samruddhi Seva Sangh (SSSS) is an official body of Archdiocese of Gandhinagar for social development works in six districts of North Gujarat since 2003.
