Generation Entertainment Florida recently announced the dates for their exciting festival - the 2018 HEMP FEST FLORIDA! This year’s event will be the season ticket for responsible cannabis and hemp users to experience a purposeful, fulfilled event with a cause - to promote awareness in several local and diverse communities about hemp and medical marijuana. The HEMP FEST FLORIDA will feature a lineup of fresh music talent, food trucks, fashion show, cannabis church, yoga class and a lot more. The event will take place on October 13 and 14, 2018 from 11 am to 7pm at the 2505 Bella Vista ST Lakeland, Florida. Generation Entertainment Florida is also currently accepting artists, sponsors, and vendors that are passionate about music and spreading awareness about important issues.
This is going to be the second year of the Hemp Fest Florida and the organizers are excited to bring an amazing experience to their audience in partnership with various notable awareness groups, awareness supporters, business sponsors and cultural music lovers along with some new and upcoming talent that will also be performing to help support the cause.
The annual festival was previously known as the HempFest Tampa and had its first ever festival in 2016, the organizers decided to change the name of the event to Hemp Fest Florida after noticing that people from all over Florida where coming to attend the event and therefore it made sense to be more inclusive. In 2016, over 25k people attended the festival over the period of 2 days. The 2016 festival was a celebration of the 2nd amendment, which made it possible for the medical Marijuana to be used by patients if the physician believes that the medical use of marijuana would likely outweigh the potential health risks for a patient, the product can be consumed as edibles or by using vaping, oils, sprays or pills.
The HEMP FEST FLORIDA spokesperson said, “We will be hosting the 2nd Hemp Fest with an aim to help bring awareness about a bunch of important issues involving the use of medical marijuana and hemp.” He further added, “After the 2nd amendment, we wanted to bring attention to the medical benefits of marijuana for a whole host of health issues. With the help of your sponsors and partners we have been able to bring to light something that can bring a positive change to millions of lives.”
