Financial Education Benefits Center Preparing to Debut Tax Help Benefit

San Ramon, Calif. - February 7, 2018 - (Newswire.com)

Tax season is upon us. Many millions of Americans need to file taxes but are often confused about our nation’s tax code. What’s more, a vast majority of people seek help from either a professional or tax software to assist them in filing their taxes. With the new tax laws, 2019’s tax season might be even more confusing. Financial Education Benefits Center (FEBC), a membership benefits company, will soon be offering a tax help benefit to eligible members for an easier tax season.

“This benefit is intended to make tax season a lot easier for the members who take full advantage of it,” said Brandon Frere, CEO of FEBC. “FEBC members will have experts on hand to help them complete their taxes stress-free.”

Eligible members who have access to the benefit will be able to use it in a variety of ways. They can get free tax preparation for 1040EZ, 1040A, and 1040 forms from a tax professional. Members can also call and obtain advice from tax attorneys, CPAs, former auditors, and more. Users of the benefit also have access to a member portal where they can read tips and advice, as well as information on new tax laws.

Paying a professional to prepare taxes can cost hundreds of dollars, depending on the complexity of the tax situation and the professional’s rates. With the tax benefit, eligible members can save that money with free preparation of the forms noted above.

Users of this benefit will also enjoy peace of mind when they have their questions answered by a variety of tax professionals. They will be able to learn about how tax laws affect them and their personal finances. Tax-related stress may be alleviated for eligible FEBC members with the knowledge that this resource is on hand.

“We’re doing what we can to give our participating members the benefit of peace of mind when it comes to taxes,” said Frere. “Pretty much no one has fun doing their taxes. It’s a chore that we’re trying to make a whole lot easier for our members who can access this benefit. This is about saving money, about saving time, and making all things taxes less stressful. Helping reduce stress is a key part of what we do at FEBC.”
