In trading on Tuesday, metals & mining shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 1.8%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Smart Sand (SND), down about 6.6% and shares of Nuveen Arizona Dividend Advantage Municipal Fund III (NXE) down about 5.9% on the day.
