G.S. Forgey, a native of Oklahoma, performer, and former columnist who acquired his doctorate from the University of Oklahoma, has completed his new book, “The Ring of Avalon”:  an exciting book on how a young man used the powers of the ring he found and the adventures he has taken upon knowing that he is a descendant of the legendary King Arthur.

Forgey shares, “It didn’t take much longer for Ian to completely unearth the item. It was a ring. Ian brushed off as much of the dirt from the ring as he could. Ian didn’t know much about jewels and wondered if the green stone in the middle of the ring could be an emerald. Ian grabbed a bottle of water from his backpack and rinsed off the ring. The ring became shinier as the gold from the ring reflected its brilliance in the bright sunshine.

Ian could hardly hold his excitement. Ian looked in amazement as he continued examining the ring. The green stone was surrounded in a circle by what Ian thought were twelve diamonds. Two of the diamonds were a little larger than the others, with one at the top of the circle and one at the bottom. The elongated point of the green stone pointed toward the larger diamond at the top of the circle. The sides of the ring had mysterious markings that Ian had never seen.”

Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, G.S. Forgey’s new book is a highly original story on the unintended negative consequences of altering past events and knowing ahead what will happen in the future, even if the young man can use the ring that allows him to time travel for a good cause.

Forgey takes his readers to exciting adventures on saving lives, solving crimes, and meeting prominent people of the past. Having great power can indeed lead to both great accomplishments and disastrous consequences.

Readers can purchase “The Ring of Avalon” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Kobo, Amazon or Barnes and Noble.
