Free door access control software for leading controller brands

By: PRLog
Open-platform solution for HID, Mercury, Suprema and Axis door control panels and IP readers.
HAWTHORNE, Calif. - Dec. 25, 2017 - PRLog -- Midpoint Security introduces a free edition of CredoID door access control software, compatible with HID VertX door controllers, Edge EVO IP card readers, Mercury control panels, Suprema fingerprint attendance terminals and wireless Aperio locks by Assa Abloy. In addition to the main-stream hardware, CredoID also supports Axis A1001 open platform controller using the industry standard Onvif Profile C protocol for access control.

The free life-time license of CredoID supports systems of up to 20 readers and includes all basic access control functions, as well as floorplans, attendance reports, and operator action logging, all delivered via an intuitive multilingual interface. Additional features, such as automatic alarm notification, VMS integration, ID card production, Active Directory integration, mobile reader licenses, elevation access control, vehicle license plate recognition, alarm management and other advanced functions are available as optional upgrades. CredoID access control software is exceptionally well adapted for expansion and integration: customers may start with just a few IP card readers and purchase expansion licenses as need, merge remote sites and branches containing different controller brands, and link the system with HR for attendance data export and company AD servers for user data import, seamlessly linking up with customers business systems and process, eliminating double data entry efforts and making security management easy.

With more than 2000 CredoID systems in operation worldwide in banks, schools, factories, powerplants, datacenters and many other high-security sites, Midpoint Security is making a bid on open standards and growing adoption of non-proprietary technologies in electronic security. Aivaras Junelis, the business development manager at Midpoint, states: "Customers' demands have grown over the years. Even the smallest businesses are requesting high-end features. Our freeware offer gives a chance to start with professional access control hardware in every project without paying top dollar for the software or signing annual service contracts. When a customer reaches the 20-door limit or requires advanced features he will have all options open. We'll do our best to keep the customers by offering an upgrade to CredoID Enterprise, but decision will be theirs to make. This is the nature and the beauty of open platforms!"
